Thanks to Karen's expertise and support our family life has truly transformed. We now have a more balanced, peaceful and happy 5 year old girl.
Turn daily behaviour battles into calmer, more connected parenting
If your child’s behaviour feels like it is running the house, this course gives you a practical way to understand what is going on and what to do next.
Created by child behaviour specialist Karen Campbell, this online course helps parents understand why challenging behaviour happens, why some strategies work and others do not, and how to create calmer, more positive patterns at home.

When every day feels harder than it should
Maybe your child refuses simple instructions. Maybe the smallest change turns into a meltdown. Maybe bedtime, getting dressed, leaving the house, screen time or transitions have become daily battles.
You may have tried rewards, consequences, calm talking, ignoring it, explaining it, being firmer, being softer, and everything in between.
And still, the behaviour keeps happening.
That does not mean you are failing. It usually means the behaviour has become part of a pattern. And once you understand the pattern, you can start changing what happens next.
This course is for the parent who has tried hard, but still feels stuck.
Instead of handing you another random parenting tactic, Karen helps you step back, understand what is driving the behaviour, and build a more consistent response at home.
See what is includedBehaviour is not random
Challenging behaviour can feel unpredictable, but it usually continues for a reason. A child might be trying to avoid something, gain attention, access something they want, escape a demand, manage overwhelm, or communicate something they do not yet have the words or skills to explain.
Positive Behaviour Support helps parents look beneath the surface. Instead of only asking, “How do I stop this behaviour?”, you learn to understand what is happening around the behaviour and what skill your child may need to learn instead.
A practical way to answer better questions
- What is happening before the behaviour?
- What is my child getting or avoiding?
- What might be reinforcing the behaviour?
- What skill does my child need to learn instead?
- How can I respond in a way that helps rather than escalates?
A practical course for parents who want a calmer home
Karen’s Positive Behaviour Support course is designed to help parents understand how behaviours are learned, why they continue, and how to gently but effectively encourage more positive behaviour.
This is not about harsh discipline, blame, or quick-fix parenting tricks.
It is about understanding your child’s behaviour, changing the environment around the behaviour, and using practical strategies that help your child learn better ways to respond.
Through 5 chapters and 16 lessons, Karen guides you through the foundations of Positive Behaviour Support in a way that is clear, practical and easy to apply at home.

Why parents often feel stuck
Many parents respond to behaviour in the moment because they are exhausted, embarrassed, frustrated or just trying to get through the day. That is completely understandable.
But when behaviour keeps repeating, the real solution is usually not another lecture, another consequence, or another reward chart grabbed in desperation.
What actually changes the pattern
The solution starts with understanding what is keeping the behaviour going.
Once you can see the pattern, you can change the setup, change your response, teach a better replacement behaviour, and help your child practise a new way forward.
What makes this different?
Many parenting courses give broad advice. Karen’s course focuses specifically on behaviour.
You will learn how to think like a behaviour specialist, but in plain, parent-friendly language.

These answers help parents understand whether the course is a good fit and how the support works.
Is this course only for parents of young children?
The course is useful for parents dealing with challenging behaviour in children, but the best age range should be confirmed with Karen based on the course content and her clinical judgement.
Is this suitable for children with ADHD or neurodiversity?
Many Positive Behaviour Support strategies can be useful for neurodiverse children, but every child is different. If your child has complex needs, the one-on-one session with Karen can help you think through how to apply the strategies appropriately.
Is this a replacement for individual support?
No. This course is a practical educational resource. If your child’s behaviour is severe, unsafe, or connected to wider developmental, emotional or family concerns, individual support may still be recommended.
How long does the course take?
The course is broken into short lessons so you can work through it at your own pace. You do not need to complete everything in one sitting.
What does the one-on-one session include?
The one-on-one session gives you an opportunity to talk with Karen about your situation and how to apply the strategies from the course to your child and home environment.
What if I have tried everything already?
That is exactly why this course may help. Instead of giving you another random strategy, it helps you understand why behaviour continues and how to choose a response based on the pattern behind the behaviour.
